The craze of Artificial Intelligence has gone global as people have started using for creating images, videos and now songs too. The latest example of this was shown by Eiichiro Oda, the creator of the legendary anime series One Piece. Oda san has used AI to compose a One Piece song which he later shared with the fans.
News of Eiichiro Oda experimenting with AI to write a song about his most cherished work, One Piece, had been shared by the official One Piece X account (formerly Twitter). The AI produced an amazing song that was reminiscent of popular pop songs by different idols from Japan.
Even though the song’s lyrics seem a little corny, AI did a fantastic job capturing the essence of the One Piece series in them. The song is titled “YO-HO-HO, We Pirates” with Yo ho ho being a catchphrase used by the musicians of the straw hat pirates, Brook, who is also a singer and is known to be the character who produced the popular One Piece song Binks’ Sake.

The song was composed by him using Suno, an AI music creation tool. Due to the release of its plugin for Microsoft’s AI chatbot, Copilot, this AI tool has gained attention recently. The lyrics of the song read:
“Yohoho, we’re sailing on the sea, cutting the wind with our straw hats, and going on a treasure hunt. Straw Hat Pirates are aiming for the stars. Sailing the ocean, free and bold, With dreams of treasure and stories untold. Hoist the sails and the adventure begins (oh, oh, oh) The wildest crew on the seas. Luffy aims for a big victory, our captain. Straw Hat Pirates who cross the ocean. Born free and live free.”
The songs looks like it has been composed by Brook as it begins with his catchphrase and the title of the song also includes his catchphrase too. The tune of the song is decent and was loved by Oda san a lot as he shared it with all the One Piece fans. But this is not the first time Oda san has used AI to create something for his series.
